i saw a quote this morning that struck a chord with me

there are people out there who have differing opinions than you.

i don’t often ever share my political beliefs or opinions on here,

because quite frankly i don’t think this is the place for it.

i feel who you vote for & what you believe in should be a personal matter,

not something you expose to all you come in contact with.

it seem there’s no filter in regards to what anyone says these days,

a no-shame-in-my-game mentality, with little respect for others ….

and that’s what upsets me with the current political situation.

not the fact that you’re sharing, but the manner in which you’re doing it.

i keep going back to an old saying i grew up hearing from my parents

if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

we all have strong opinions that we are equally passionate about,

which is why there should be mutual respect on both sides —

regardless of whether our feelings & beliefs align or not.
