last night was date night with my main squeeze, and we were both craving mexican food. instead of visiting the local taco spot, he suggested we run to the store & gather ingredients for homemade steak tacos with fresh pico de gallo. about an hour later we were chowing down on these beauties. can i just say how ridiculously nice it is to be dating someone who enjoys cooking just as much [if not more] as i do? plus, he’s really good at it. the steak was prepared perfectly, the pico as well. i just chopped ingredients & helped out as needed, and happily let him be the star of the show. paired with a cold negra modela with lime & new duck dynasty episodes … i was quite the fat & happy girl last night.
