this made me laugh, because i once bought rhyan a light pink oxford shirt …

he was in second grade and didn’t put up a fight about wearing pink to school.

i thought nothing of it, until her returned home that day telling me all his friends picked on him and vowed never to wear pink again.

two grades later, that shirt remains in his closet.
