i tried this recipe for the first time last night, and it’s definitely worth passing on. the batter was so light & fluffy, and the sour cream really seems to give it a little something extra. enjoy!
1 stick butter, softened
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon juice
1 ¾ cup ap flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp cinnamon
½ cup sour cream
1 cup [or more] bananas, mashed
½ cup nuts [optional]
rhyan helped prep this tuscan potato, sausage + kale soup last night, then we headed out to shoot some basketball while it simmered. [i doubled the recipe so there were plenty of leftovers] we came home to the smell of heaven, quickly toasted/buttered some crusty bread, and the end result was without a doubt quite delightful.
so rich & hearty, just go make a pot and see for yourself.
the very best + easiest cheesecake
1 block cream cheese [softened]
1 cup sour cream
1/4-1/2 cup sugar [depending on taste]
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
whip together cream cheese & sour cream, then add sugar/vanilla and mix until smooth. pour into a graham cracker crust [store bought or homemade] and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. let cool several hours before serving, add whatever toppings you prefer — and enjoy!
